As your representatives in growing and guiding the game of golf, we take good governance extremely seriously.

We’re a non-profit company limited by guarantee, which means that our organisational structure is designed to protect our members and board from liability.

Our board, which is accountable for all our activities, has adopted a clear set of values to guide the organisation on members’ behalf.
 

Our voting members are the county bodies. Our clubs and individual golfers are non-voting members. We receive funds from:

• Playing members of golf clubs from affiliation fees
• Sport England
• Commercial sponsors
