A fairway hit is when a tee shot comes to rest in the fairway on a Par 4, 5 or Par 6 hole.
An approach shot is any shot played where the player is attempting to reach the green. A green hit is when the ball ends on the green. A ball that doesn’t end on the green can be recorded as left, right, long or short.

The percentage of time where the player has hit the green in regulation. A green in regulation is when a player hits a green in two shots or fewer than the par of the hole (eg. On the green in one shot on a Par 3, two shots on a Par 4, three shots on a Par 5, four shots on a Par 6).
When a player hits their approach shot where the ball ends on the green and the number of strokes taken is at least two fewer than par of the hole. Generally, this is a player’s first shot on a Par 3, second shot on a Par 4, and third shot on a Par 5.
Performance on approach shots to the green.
The percentage of time where a player successfully lands their ball on the green with their approach shot. Additionally, it provides insights into misses, specifying whether the ball lands short, long, left or right of the green.
Performance around the green.
The percentage of time where a player can get ‘up and down’ once in a greenside bunker.
Note: ‘up and down’ indicates it took the player 2 shots or fewer to put the ball in the hole from the greenside sand bunker.
The percentage of time a player misses the green in regulation but still manages to make par or better.
