This online classroom introduces the role of the Welfare Officer.
In order to achieve full SafeGolf accreditation, clubs and counties must appoint a Welfare Officer who has completed the Welfare Officer Training: Time to Listen (Online Classroom). All affiliated golf clubs in England must achieve the SafeGolf standard (which includes completing a Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop) for their Welfare Officer to obtain the Welfare Officer Training: TTL certification.
PLEASE NOTE: Welfare Officers must have attended an SPC before a Welfare Officer Training: TTL course. You can book your place on a Welfare Officer Training: TTL course at the same time as booking your SPC so long as you attend the Welfare Officer Training: TTL course after the SPC. The Welfare Officer Training: TTL course booking system asks if you have attended an SPC. If you have your SPC booked, but haven’t yet attended, please tick YES on the Welfare Officer Training: TTL course booking system. You do not have to wait.
Please find available SPC courses here. The Welfare Officer Training: Time to Listen classrooms listed below are open to Club and County Welfare Officers. Please note, session prices may vary dependent upon the provider. If you need any assistance, please contact Jayne Harrison at clubsupport@englandgolf.org
